“ We came back from a trip to Trollstigen and saw this restaurant with the telling name Jordbærstova... We ordered strawberry cake and coffee and were really amazed by the quality. Soft biscuit layer cake with rich whipped cream and strawberry sauce. It may not look much sauce, but the taste was very intense, with the perfect amount of sweetness. Delicious! Best was that the waitress was very sympathetic young lady from Brazil. As I know a little Portuguese my wife and me were having a small talk with her. Afterwards we were asking ourselves how on earth some young woman from Minas Gerais in Brazil finds a job so far away and so different from her own country! ”

The lady at the counter was very helpful and friendly, which added to the experience. I highly recommend trying the strawberry cake and their fresh waffles with homemade strawberry jam both were delicious. However, a small downside is that their coffee comes from a machine rather than being barista-made, which was a bit disappointing. ”
